Other tagline options
Built for the days off
Outside is the plan
Earned, not given
From the jobsite to the water
Good days start outdoors
Weekend-ready. Every day.
Clock Out. Head Out.
Work. Water. Woods. Freedom.
Find your outside
Live where the road ends
The first group has a rugged, relaxed, work-to-weekend tone that fits decals, shirts, hats, social posts, and product descriptions.

Short brand statements
Use these in different places depending on how much room you have:

Website / About section
Dude’s Life is built for the guys who work hard, get outside, and make the most of every day off.

Social-media bio
Outdoor lifestyle gear for work-hard, get-outside dudes.

Decal packaging or insert
Made for trucks, boats, coolers, back roads, lake days, trails, and wherever you recharge.

Florida-origin version
Florida born. Built for the outdoors everywhere.

Work-to-weekend version
From the jobsite to the water, the woods, and the open road.

Brand voice
Keep the wording:
Rugged but not overly aggressive
Laid-back, funny, and confident
Focused on freedom, weekends, outdoors, trucks, water, trails, and hard work
Broad enough that a fisherman in Florida, a hunter in Georgia, a camper in Tennessee, or a mountain biker in Colorado can all relate
Avoid making every design only about palm trees or Florida. Your first palm-and-hammock decal is a strong Florida Water Life design, while future designs should include mountain/trail, desert/back-road, and universal outdoor themes.

Starting collection
A good first small collection was:
2 Florida/water designs
2 mountain/trail designs
2 desert/back-road designs
1 simple, terrain-neutral Dude’s Life logo shirt or decal
1 work-to-weekend design, such as “Clock Out. Head Out.”
That mix makes it obvious that Dude’s Life is about an outdoor mindset, not one particular activity or location.

Owner story
Since you want to keep the pilot-car company and Dude’s Life separate, the best connection is your personal story—not mixing the businesses together:
Built by Stephen Wallace, a Florida small-business owner who spends his working life on the road and his free time outside.
Keep that as a small note on an About page or footer, rather than putting your pilot-car business in Dude’s Life’s main branding.

For Dude’s Life, the lesson is not to copy Salt Life’s ocean identity or logo style. It is to use the same brand-building structure:

Salt Life approach / Dude’s Life version
A short phrase people can claim as their identity / Dude’s Life as an outdoor, work-to-weekend identity
A home-base culture with wider appeal / Florida roots, but designs for water, woods, trails, mountains, deserts, and back roads
A simple vehicle decal as a visible brand signal / Your weed-friendly 8-inch outdoor-window decal
A consistent logo plus themed designs / A terrain-neutral Dude’s Life mark, plus Florida-water, trail, back-road, camping, and mountain designs
One broad lifestyle, not one narrow sport / Fishing, hunting, boating, camping, grilling, riding, hiking, travel, and working outdoors

Your strongest difference is that Dude’s Life can cover the full outdoorsman’s “clock out and head out” lifestyle, rather than being tied only to saltwater or coastal culture. That fits the direction you already chose: “Work Hard. Get Outside. Live Free.”
